Joint Working

Partnering with the NHS

Celgene is actively involved in joint working projects with the National Health Service (NHS) to support the delivery of healthcare for the ultimate benefit of patients. We implement the Department of Health guidance on Joint Working across all our projects and ensure all adhere with the ABPI Code of Practice.

Joint working describes situations where, for the benefit of patients, NHS and industry organisations pool skills, experience and/or resources for the joint development and implementation of patient centred projects and share a commitment to successful delivery. (ABPI, Joint Working A Quick Start Reference Guide for NHS and pharmaceutical industry partners, 2012; The Cancer Vanguard, Joint Working Interactive Medicines Optimisation and Compliance Dashboard and Evaluation Framework, 2017)

Celgene is committed to working collaboratively to deliver accessible therapies in cancer and immune-inflammatory diseases that make a real difference to patients and clinicians, and advance excellence in healthcare provision in the UK and Ireland.
